Diagnosis conditionIgnition switch: ON
SignalElectric shift sensor signal
ThresholdThe input voltage is one of the following in one of electric shift sensors No.1 to No.8.
  • 0.6 V≦input voltage≦1.07 V
  • 2.121 V <input voltage<2.67 V
  • 3.28 V≦input voltage≦4.5 V
Diagnosis delay time2.4 seconds
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Electric shift selector (Electric shift sensor)
  • Electric shift control module
  • Harness or connectors (Electric shift sensor circuit is open or shorted.)
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
Not changed from normal driving
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. The ignition switch is ON and wait for at least 5 seconds.
  2. Shift the selector lever to "R" position and hold for at least 5 seconds.
  3. Shift the selector lever to "D/M" position and hold for at least 5 seconds.
  4. Check DTC.
