Diagnosis conditionWhen the Ignition switch is ON
Signal—
ThresholdA malfunction is detected in the electric shift control module.
Diagnosis delay time—
*: This code is displayed as P0914 on GST.
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Electric shift control module
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
  • Powertrain becomes neutral
  • Automatic P position system is disabled
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 60 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. The ignition switch is ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
  2. The ignition switch is OFF and wait for 2 minutes or more.
  3. The ignition switch is ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
  4. Repeat step 2 and 3, three times.
  5. Check DTC.
