(Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor "B" Circuit Intermittent)
Diagnosis conditionTCM power supply voltage: More than 11 V
Signal
ThresholdSecondary pulley speed: more than 16212 rpm

POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Harness or connector (Output speed sensor circuit is open or shorted)
  • Output speed sensor
  • TCM
 
 
FAIL-SAFE
  • Start is slow
  • Acceleration is slow
  • Lock-up is not performed
  • Manual mode is not activated
 
 
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
cautionAlways drive vehicle at a safe speed.
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” is previously conducted, always the ignition switch is OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before performing the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
  1. Start the engine.
  2. Shift to D position.
  3. Fully depress the acceleraor pedal and accelerate by reaching 80 – 100 km/h (50 – 62 MPH).
    And then release the accelrator pedal.
    caution
    • Never exceed legal speed.
    • Always drive at a safe speed.
  4. Stop the vehicle.
  5. Check the first trip DTC.
