				Signal	-
				Threshold	Target range and redundant range do not match
				Diagnosis delay time	0.38 seconds
			3	Diagnosis condition	Ignition switch: ON
				Signal	-
				Threshold	Actual range (range of transmission range switch) and redundant range do not match
				Diagnosis delay time	0.38 seconds

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Shift actuator

FAIL-SAFE

Malfunction 1

Shifting operation is prohibited
Shift position indicator on combination meter is not displayed
Powertrain becomes neutral

Malfunction 2

No impact to vehicle behavior

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.PRECONDITIONING

If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

Start the engine.
Depress the brake pedal.
Shift the selector lever to “R” position and wait for 5 seconds.
Shift the selector lever to “Nd” position and wait for 5 seconds.
Shift the selector lever to “D/M” position and wait for 10 seconds.
Press the P position switch and wait for 10 seconds.
Check DTC.
