Starter motor
COMPONENT FUNCTION WITHIN SYSTEM
Starter motor is controlled by IPDM E/R and BCM.
Starter motor cranks engine.
INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT FUNCTION
Starter motor is run by 12V battery power and cranks engine.
COMPONENT OPERATION
When “S” terminal of starter motor
is supplied with electric power, starter motor plunger
closes and starter motor is supplied with 12V battery power via "B" terminal.
COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION
Starter motor is installed to front side of engine. Refer to
Component Parts Location
