DTC Description
The heated oxygen sensor 2 has a much longer switching time between rich and lean than the air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1. The oxygen storage capacity of the three way catalyst (manifold) causes the longer switching time.
: 0.71 V
To judge the malfunctions of heated oxygen sensor 2, ECM monitors whether the maximum voltage of the sensor is sufficiently high during various driving conditions such as fuel cut.

DTC Confirmation Procedure
1.PRECONDITIONING
If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.
TESTING CONDITION:
Check that “COOLANT TEMP/S” indicates between 0°C to 30°C (30°F to 86°F) before conducting following procedure.
.

2.PERFORM COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK
Perform Component Function Check. Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
-1To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
-2Confirmation after repair: .
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

3.ERASE DTC
Erase DTC of ECM.
