(Fuel Pump Module "A" Control Circuit High)
Diagnosis conditionThe ignition switches on and the engine is running including cranking.
Signal (terminal)Fuel pump relay signal
ThresholdWhen ECM detects over current depending on fuel pump relay excessive input current.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Harness or connectors (circuit is battery to short)
  • ECM internal malfunction

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
  2. Turn ignition switch ON.
  3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 15 seconds.
noteWhen engine is not started, cranking is required.
Is DTC detected?
Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
