Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC P032B is displayed with DTC P032C or P032D, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC P032C or P032D.
Is applicable DTC detected?
Perform diagnosis of applicable.

2.CHECK INSTALLATION CONDITION OF KNOCK SENSOR 2
Visually check that the knock sensor 2 is installed normally.
Is the inspection result normal?
.
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
 
3.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent IncidentIntermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
.
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
 
4.CHECK KNOCK SENSOR 2 CIRCUIT
Check knock sensor 2 circuit. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
.
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
 
5.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
  1. Turn ignition switch ON.
  2. Erase DTC.
  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC Description.
Is the 1st trip DTC P032B displayed again?
Replace ECM. Refer to Removal & InstallationECM : Removal & Installation.
